Mega Man Zero 2 (2003): Departure! | Capcom Quest #333

Departure theme is so beautiful. Capcom Quest of Mega Man Zero 2. That episode with a lot of skills, forms and spikes!

It's official, keeping Rank A or S is just for those who already know the game!

Once again, that search for an utopian place corrupted a character's soul. TK31 (Elpizo) was the one who helped build resistance after feeling betrayed by Neo Arcadia. Now he seeks revenge, wants to destroy all humans and create a paradise for reploids.

Zero 2 came with many unlockable features. EX Skills are acquired after defeating bosses with a rank above A, greatly increasing the hero's moveset.

Forms (which are the colors of the armor) are mostly acquired by defeating enemies with specific weapons in a single mission. Ex: Power Form is conquered after pulling an item or enemy 30 times with the Chain Rod.

And of course Cyber Elves and weapon upgrades are back! I still think it's exaggerated to punish the use of Elves in the Rank, I prefer to stay in the low rankings.

I suggest that beginners go after this E-tank as soon as possible. The game is very punishable, Zero takes too much damage.

My biggest complain is the spikes, I don't know what went into the devs' heads, here there are too many of these in the levels! I died a lot xD

And about the bosses, none is difficult if you have a lot of HP, which I only got towards the end. So I reinforce the tip to go after that E-tank.

In the end, I believe it's a good game. Elpizo's story is great, the new features greatly increase the game's replay and the songs, especially Departure, are amazing. Great episode to finish this HUGE season!

Until next season... Hunters!
