What the hell happened to Dylan at the end of that game? Capcom Quest of Dino Crisis 2! One very different sequence!
If they had left the Third Energy aside, none of this would have happened...
The story of this episode is once again due to an accident with the mysterious Third Energy. Researchers continued their attempts to control it, it didn't work and a part of the city was taken to the Jurassic era.
Thanks to this, Regina and Dylan went on a rescue mission for the more than 300 teleported soldiers and the source of the Third Energy itself.
The game is very different from its predecessor, it has much more action and personality, which ended up being quite distant from Resident Evil. You can even run and shoot!
The combos system has been added, the more dinosaurs you kill in a row the more "money" you earn to buy items and weapons. And for me this was one of the best news!
There're a lot parts with fps minigames which is amazing! I believe for this reason they made a Gun Survivor based on this game.
Another striking difference is the linearity, here there is almost no backtracking compared to the first Dino Crisis, and when it happens is something very simple.
But the icing on the cake is the plot twist at the end. I just hope Capcom has explained what happens to Dylan in some future game...
