Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (1996): The Tetris Chibi Fighter | Capcom Quest #176

Such kawaii characters in such a difficult game. Capcom Quest of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo! A Tetris made for Hard Cores.

Don't make mistake about these cute little faces! This is for sure the one of the complicated games xD

The goal is to fill the opponent's screen with blocks, and for that you have to collect several blocks and destroy them with these little balls of the same color.

The idea is simple, right? Until you realize that the CPU sends you several blocks! Most of the time you think you're doing well, but you don't.

The best strategy was to focus on just one color, and when the block gets huge wait for the ball to destroy it. At least it helped me in some hard opponents.

The gameplay does not change, although the sequence of blocks are different for each character. But one thing I was upset about is that ALL the fighters have the same ending.

What I really enjoyed in the game were the scenarios with a lot CAPCOM references and also the chibi versions of the characters!

I believe that CAPCOM was already producing Pocket Fighter and decided to launch this game before to create a hype. But there are people who think it was thanks to the success of Puzzle that born the fighting game. Who knows...

I don't know how to do the infinites combos = (
