I thought Mickey had more villains besides Pete. Capcom Quest of Disney's Magical Quest 3 starring Mickey and Donald. The final chapter of this amazing trilogy!
I am not sure why, but this episode was only released in Japan. Only years later came the western version of Gameboy Advance.
The game is not much different from what we saw in past episodes, telling the truth, even some clothes are new versions of old powers.
This time we have the company of Donald, who will rescue his three nephews who were sucked into the magic book and imprisoned by Pete's gang.
The clothes' powers has some differences from one character to another, which did not happen in the previous episode. For example Donald can hold up Mickey using his magical power, the range of Mickey's armor attack is better than Donald's, etc...
As usual, I could not upgrade the clothes by dying and losing coins, even with the new bonus stage to farm items.
Playing in 2 players mode is more fun, but it's not easier. Several times we die because the screen does not follow the two characters.
I got stuck almost an hour in the last stage, it's really challenging, with classic boss rush, multiple screens and Pete to make your life harder. Much of this difficulty comes from not having a checkpoint.
This is a very beloved franchise for those who lived the 90s, maybe one day we will have a remake as happened with DuckTales!
