Mickey Mania (1995): A Master Piece! | Capcom Quest #153

So beautiful and sooo hard! Capcom Quest of Mickey Mania, a cartoon-like game that was distributed in Japan by Capcom.

The goal of Capcom Quest is to beat games that were developed and/or licensed by Capcom. But let's be honest, Disney had such a beautiful story with Capcom that I need to add some games.

Capcom's only involvement in this game was the distribution of the Super Nintendo version in Japan. There are other versions, with PSone being the most praised.

This is one of the biggest tribute ever made for the Disney mascot! With each act you experience a time in Mickey's history, beginning in the late 20s and ending in the early 90s.

For sure, the best words for this game is beauty and difficulty. Everything here is wonderful, you feel playing a hand-drawn cartoon, really nice!

But what a difficult game, huh!? Many parts are decore and other challenging! Even some common enemies, such as these skeletons, are annoying to kill/evade.

Those parts of Moose and Pete's Tower were the best! I remember as a child I was impressed with this 3D! Disney was very clever to put these scenes on the press start screen.

In my gameplay two interesting things happened, the first is that I killed the Mad Scientist too fast that the door didn't open. The other is by killing certain enemies you access a "warp stage" this condition I never seen before.

The screen transitions are also a show apart, don't you think!?

The hardest part was the last stage. The big problem is that the game has no infinite continues, and this stage is quite large, so if use any continue you'll back to beginning.

The final battle is pretty cool, you have to use the scenery objects to defeat Pete, but dodging the shurikens that is the challenge, I died a lot here, mainly because of them...

In the end, the game leaves this wonderful message to us, hahahah. Well, unfortunately we can't buy this game anymore...

Now I'm really missing shooters!!!
