After a few inspired games, the official finally arrived. Capcom Quest of Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom! A beat 'em up that follows the table RPG.
After The King of Dragons, which is practically a D&D, Capcom got rights to develop this beautiful game!!!
Both this and its sequel were the most complete Beat 'em Ups that Capcom made! There are all the mechanics of previous games, from the simplest how to pick up weapons on the floor to the most complete like level up.
In addition there is the new mechanics of carrying several items, you don't need to drop an ax to get the bow, for example. And you can buy it all in the taverns!
Elf, Dwarf, Warrior and Cleric are the heroes. Obviously, each one has its particularity, that way that any RPG player knows: Elf with more spells, Cleric the balanced, Warrior more life points and Dwarf the strongest!
Unfortunately each player can only control the same character throughout the story, but the game has the option of 4 players, which makes the game even more epic.
The immersion of the game is the strongest point, from mystical creatures to the beautiful scenery of the book. There are even choices of paths through questions, that is soo RPG right?
If it weren't for my friend I would have been stuck in this boss. The Troll only dies if it uses fire on the last hit, ahhaahahahah. Thanks B2!!!!
The game has a lot of hard bosses, I don't even know how many coins are gone, but the boss battle against the Red Dragon was the most crazy (I even thought it was the final boss).
However, the Tower of Doom starts after that boss. It's the part with the most traps in the game, with a lot of alternative paths and chests that throw poison on you. lol
And it's at the end of this tower that we beat the game after winning the final boss. What a game, Capcom has really outdone itself. I'm looking forward to playing the sequel!
