I thought Mega Man was only hard on NES... I was wrong. Capcom Quest of Mega Man III, beating another challenge in black and white!
The fist thing that I need to say is that I was really surprised with the audio quality in this episode. I don't know how but, it looks even better than the nes version, something that the previous ones couldn't do on the Game Boy.
One more time, there are 8 Robot Masters with level design inspired by nes stages, with some changes of course. Also has new enemies but nothing so interesting.
One AWESOME thing was this "Transition Boss". Do you know that annoying enemy from the Cut Man's stage? Well, he won an BAD ASS version where he goes in several directions to get you, and in that small place before you face the Robot Master!
After beat that meme, the others 4 Robot Masters shows up, and their stages are bigger and more challenging! Most of the time I got problems with the small screen from the handheld, because I couldn't see the enemies that were coming!
I don't know if it was a level design error, but there is a crazy part in the Dust Man's stage where you have to call the Rush Coil to get through those spikes. And it has to be Coil because you only get the Rush Jet after defeating this Robot Master! I do not know, I just thought this strange.
Defeating all the bosses you need to face the Punk, that is the Mega Man Killer from this game. Unlike Quint, this one is very challenging, his attacks takes a lot of damage, plus he predicts every steps ! A fun fact is that he got a version in the EXE series!
Unlike the other versions there is not a boss rush here, this because there are already 8 stages before Willy's Station! But the final stage again is very challenging, if you die on the boss, you will return in the middle of the stage.
This is the easiest final boss I've faced so far in this quest! If you just stay in the corner jumping and shooting, he will never hit you with those missiles, and his second form is very easy using the Punk's weapon (which is only useful in this battle)
Defeating him, it's another Willy's Station down and end of game! With that meme you already know, the scientist begs for forgiveness and escape to return in the next episode, that was also released this year!
