I haven't played this mercenary mode yet, but Ada's story is definitely better than in the classic.
I remember that only the fight against Krauser and Saddler caught my attention in the separate ways of the first RE4. That was different here.
This version has much more story, it's not just a conversation between Ada and Wesker, and it also gives Luis more prominence.
This time Ada is infected with Las Plagas, so part of the adventure is to run after a cure, but there will be a pursuer stopping her.

I felt that the campaign encourages you to escape from places using the hook shot rather than face all the ganados. Especially if you don't have your weapons upgraded.
Finally, I even lost count of how many times Ada saved Leon. The girl really likes to keep her friendzoner well looked, hahaha.
