Street Fighter 6 (2023): Hit The Streets | Capcom Quest #513

No one expected this World Tour mode. Capcom Quest of Street Fighter 6. The eternal search for strength.

Prepare your reflexes or the green glow will get you.

What a spectacle this game's launch was, seriously. From the beta where everyone played in the Battle Hub to Day One. It seemed like the ENTIRE FGC was satisfied.

Capcom made the right choice about the initial roster. They played in the safe zone bringing all the World Warriors and many of the new characters were well accepted by the community.

But the mind-blowing thing was the reformulation of the World Tour mode. Exploring the legendary Metro City, recognizing classic references (even from BoF), discovering new threats and being able to become a student learning more about each Street Fighter was incredible!

I loved the Battle Hub, being able to interact with other players and use your World Tour character to battle was awesome! You can even play classic Capcom games in the arcades.

And of course, the Arcade mode is also here, where you can change between 5 or 12 fights with or without bonuses. All characters have their own opening and ending, too bad is not animated like in SFIV.

Capcom also took care of accessibility, from cast with real people, modern control options, and even sounds and filters that help people with visual and/or hearing impairments.

The new mechanic is the Drive System. Drive Rush and Parry are complicated. Drive Impact and Reversal, on the other hand, are not that problematic for me.

And you also have to always keep an eye on the Drive bar to avoid going into Burnout, otherwise you will be stunned in the corner by an opponent's Drive Impact.

Without a doubt, this is the Street Fighter with the best online ever made. In all the tournaments I watch, most of them have no problems with the online.

Street Fighter 6 is a game that goes far beyond what happened at the launch of its predecessor. There will still be many years of updates, but Capcom has certainly shown once again that they know how to surpass themselves.
