Resident Evil 4 (2023): An Outsider in a Remade Village | Capcom Quest #512

Absolute CINEMA. Capcom Quest of Resident Evil 4. The remake that fans were waiting.

When Capcom wants to create a masterpiece, they succeed.

Honestly, I don't know what to complain about here. In my opinion, RE4 Remake managed to achieve its goal of surpassing, or at least being on par with, the classic.

I loved that Luis had more screen time, I remember that was one of the complaints I made about the classic. Here the "good Samaritan" was pure style.

I think the big relief was that Ashley is less of a hassle than in the classic. She doesn't even have HP here, which makes things much easier.

The Salazar's Castle part was my favorite. I really enjoyed the adaptation of the giant statue and the fight against the noble dwarf, hahahaha.

Another epic fight was against Krauser. Seriously, that knife fight was the highlight. Also, thanks Capcom for making parrying so much easier in this game.

One of the new features was the equipment in the briefcase. There's even one that simulates the Striker bug that makes Leon run faster.

Speaking of which, the devs definitely had a lot of fun tricking players. Whether it was that "safe spot" in the village courtyard, or even the dead dog. In addition, several skips were made for speedrunners to discover.

I even found the shooting minigames and the new puzzles superior to the classic. I really have nothing to complain about this game.

Anyway, I hope the future of the series continues to be as good as it is now. Congratulations to those involved.
