Exoprimal (2023): Suit up. Adapt. Survive. | Capcom Quest #510

This game could be better. Capcom Quest of Exoprimal! Dinosaurs are back and it's not Dino Crisis.

I guarantee you, if this game didn't have dinosaurs and a red-haired character, the hate would be less.

Sometimes I wonder, why go through this kind of headache? Exoprimal is a good game, yes, but the community was so angry that it wasn't a Dino Crisis that most didn't even give it a chance. I think Capcom should have changed the theme.

Anyway, here you'll have 10 Exosuits options, each with 2 alternative versions that you get by leveling up the previous version. You'll have to play A LOT to unlock them all.

Assaults, Tanks and Supporters. The coolest thing is that you can switch whenever you want during the mission. So, don't even worry about choosing a "main" because the best way to play is to know when to use each one.

The goal is always to complete the tasks faster than the opposing team. Whether it's killing hordes of dinosaurs, protecting a location, or carrying a giant cube to a specific location. You can even choose to have a PvP in the last mission.

The game doesn't offer many maps, I believe more would come in future updates, but it seems that Capcom has stopped the new features due to lack of interest from the public.

Unfortunately, the story mode is bad. Despite having a really cool plot, the repetition of the same missions to advance in the story really drives away the casual audience. I had to play 60 games to finish it.

I won't talk much about the characters in the story mode, but it's that typical group that wants to destroy a threat against a villain who wants to control everything.

Capcom has done some collaborations with other games, such as Street Fighter skins and secret bosses. Of these, Rathalos was pretty easy, but Yellow Devil is a hell!

Finally, the fight against the final boss is simply epic! I really liked it, including the ending theme is AWESOME. It's a shame the game was so poorly received, I hope Capcom gets it right with the next new IP.
