Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak (2021): The Trials of Kamura and Elgado | Capcom Quest #507

Switch Axe is really good! Capcom Quest of Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak. Trying to stop the Frenzy.

Dogs drifting and turning on the turbo... How can you not love it?

It's incredible how the series' movement has gotten faster and faster. I remember using big weapons in the first games was VERY slow. Here I fell in love with the Switch Axe.

Still on the subject, you can climb up most places. I was a little confused on the mini map, but this mechanic helped a lot in reaching the objectives.

Another new feature here are the Wirebug. In addition to launching you for short/long distances, they serve as skills very similar to what happened in Monster Hunter Generations. I would like to see them again in the franchise.

All of the "Quality of Life" from Monster Hunter World are here. You don't need to worry too much about farming. There's even that "broken" starter set that helps a lot in advancing in the game.

The mission system has returned to the classic Village/Hub, where the Village is only done offline. But this only happens in Rise, because in Sunbreak all the missions are from the Hub.

The Fortress missions are also nice. Here you will have to defend the village by preventing the invasion of monsters, and to do so you can use a huge arsenal around the place.

I thought there could be more scenarios, and I don't know how to explain it, but I got really lost following the mini map. I always had to climb a giant mountain instead of going around it, hahahah.

Now you can not only ride the monsters, but also control and counterattack other enemies. It's really good!

And finally, the fights against Amatsu or Malzeno Primordial are really good, but I still thought Gaismagorm was amazing. That ending playing "Proof of a Hero" was exciting.

Not this time
