Back on consoles. Capcom Quest of Monster Hunter World/Iceborne. The game with over 20 million units sold!
This was definitely Capcom's biggest commercial success in decades! The series really had to come back to consoles.
World arrived with a lot of "quality of life" compared to its predecessors. Starting with the Key Quests, which now you don't need to search for them on the internet.
Still about the quests, you can do them all online, unlike the village quests in previous games. The problem is that if there are cutscenes, you will first have to watch it and then call for reinforcements.
The maps are still divided by locations, but this time without loading between them. I have no idea how many times I changed areas by accident because a monster pushed me in previous games.
The ease of farming items, equipment and even canceling animations to escape a possible attack makes the game much more accessible. You can even walk around drinking potions here.
Capcom created many new monsters, I believe most of them are new here! But of course my Rathalos would be there, haha.
If there's one thing I'm going to complain about, it's obviously the missions to hunt footprints. I found it more boring than rescuing eggs in the first MHs.
This time, I chose the great sword! I've always liked the weapon, but here I felt that it was less heavy, it was much better!
The game offers a set that makes your journey to Iceborne much easier, but after you get to the expansion you'll have to farm equipment whether you like it or not.
And finally, everything in the game is beautiful! Capcom really put a lot of effort into the maps, characters and graphics in general, even the narrative received a greater importance in this episode. Congratulations to those involved.
