Ethan is such a hero! Capcom Quest of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The beginning of a new golden age for Capcom.
Thank God we're in a timeline where this game exists.
RE7 is one of my favorites, besides finding the story to be ABSOLUTE CINEMA, it was responsible for taking Capcom to another level.
First person may have turned away a certain audience, but I think they really nailed the immersion. It wouldn't work as well in third person.
Nothing against the other members of the Baker family, but Jack definitely stole the show. I feel sad when I've to defeat him and he only comes back in that form almost finishing the game.
The puzzles are great, especially Lucas'. It's funny when you know what needs to be done, hahaha.
If I have anything to criticize, it's the moldy ones. The design is very generic and repetitive, I didn't like any of them.
Reach for the Moon, the miracle that this engine does is no joke. The realism is absurd and I've seen very modest PCs able to run the games. Good job Capcom!
I'll play the DLCs soon, but this "Redfield" is complicated.
