The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures (2015): Yes! | Capcom Quest #471

Herlock Sholmes looks awesome. Capcom Quest of The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures! Phoenix's ancestor takes action.

It looks like Capcom really liked the crossover with Professor Layton, haha.

This time many characters did not receive localized names. Not everyone knows that Naruhodo is the surname of Phoenix (Ryūichi) in Japan. Ryunosuke is in fact his predecessor.

And speaking of him, I don't think the reason he became a lawyer was convincing. Something similar happens with Phoenix, but the difference is that Ryunosuke decides to pursue his career to carry on a legacy, and not because he is passionate about it.

At this point in the championship, we always expect murder cases, it's Ace Attorney afterall. But I was surprised in two cases, one in which you defend the killer (without knowing it) and another the victim ends up surviving.

Capcom USA and its fear of taking legal action, hahahahha. They're right, but Sherlock has probably been in the public domain for decades. This character was very important in several times, including the revealing parts of the cases.

The setting and mechanics of questioning multiple witnesses are back. It would be a waste to have left it exclusive to the Professor Layton crossover.

I didn't think there were any great things about this panel of judges. It's very theatrical, throwing fire and everything, but they change their opinions a lot. I got pretty tiring.

The classic franchise has a lot of technological and supernatural devices to help solve cases. Here it's all about knowledge, I thought it was a good difference.

I know the game has a sequel (and will probably have more), but I felt like it was missing a big final episode.
