I didn't know I would like this crossover so much. Capcom Quest of Profesor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The secrets of Laberinthya.
I wasn't expecting anything and this game suprised me a lot.
I discovered the Profesor Layton franchise now, I thought it was a great match for Ace Attorney, making it much less tiring.
The game takes place in a place called "Laberinthya" where there is literally a witch hunt going on and you will have to solve this problem throughout the chapters.
What draws the most attention here is the number of puzzles that the game offers throughout the journey. I thought this was a wonderful addition to the Ace Attorney franchise, just exploring and reading texts gets tiring sometimes.
The "Hang On" mechanic is the new addition to the courts. Now you have several witnesses to ask and question what someone else just said.
The end of the game has a wonderful plot twist! Not to mention the addition of voice acting and anime scenes made everything better.
I believe that these puzzles will not return in new Ace Attorneys, which is a shame. That's why I recommend this game even more to anyone who enjoys the franchise!
