Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes (2008): Versus Series is back! | Capcom Quest #416

Always nice to see so many characters together. Capcom Quest of Tatsunoko's Vs. Capcom! A great Nintendo Wii exclusive.

Is Tatsunoko the Marvel of Japan?

It's crazy that this game was only released for the Wii, right? And this first version was only released in Japan.

I don't know how the gameplay would be on the Wii Remote, but on the gamepad it's extremely similar to Marvel 3 (actually it's the opposite, since this one came first).

I don't know anyone from Tatsunoko at all, but the cast on the Capcom side was very varied! I loved listening to Batsu and Roll's themes one more time (including Batsu's lv3 special is badass).

The developer of the game was the same one that made Kenichi for Ps2. Eighting would also come to be the responsible for Marvel 3.

New mechanics include "Mega Crash" that works as a combo breaker and "Baroque" that can be activated in the character's recovery frame and spends the red bar of HP.

This "Baroque" certainly makes the game much more competitive! You deal more damage and can cancel combos, jumps, assistant, specials... It's crazy, I thought it was so cool!!!!

There's also the fight against the giants! I thought the Gold Lighting was pretty easy to defeat, but the PTX-40A I took some time to beat, haha.

One thing I was amazed at was the amount of minigames that exist here. There's one for each character, wonderful!

And finally, Yami from Okami as the final boss. I wasn't really expecting that, it takes a lot of work to defeat it, but just keep defending and punishing it and you'll win!

Shall Never Surrender
