Did they cancel the "Code Holder" for this? Capcom Quest of Capcom Fighting Evolution. The Cap vs. Com we didn't want.
I believe this to be the most "soulless" fighting game I've ever played.
Nothing matches anything. A mix of CPS2 and CPS3 sprites in dead stages, some of which look like a png montage.
The only POSSIBLE thing to praise is the arts, I'm not a big fan of these renders but the endings are typical arts from the Udon people, too beautiful.
At least we have three new playable characters. Two bosses from Red Heart and newcomer Ingrid, who I always thought was very much SNK like.
I don't think the canceled "Code Holder" would be successful, but releasing this game in its place was a mistake.
