Mega Man Battle Network 2 (2001): More virtual battles! | Capcom Quest #281

Capcom was hyped with this series! Capcom Quest of Mega Man Battle Network 2. The sequel that came out months later.


Probably the first two Battle Networks were made together, but improvements have still happened here.




Starting with the asterisks cards, with them you don't have to worry about the letters and you can make the combo you want! Unfortunately it's hard to drop them...





Now Mega Man also acquired elemental powers, which change his status, give more or less resistance/damage to a certain type of element and the charged shot works as the acquired power.





There is also a wonderful possibility to escape random battles by pressing the "L". It doesn't always work, but at least it helps a lot.





But better than that, it's the Sneak Run item. I don't remember it in the first game, but using this WONDER thing you can escape random battles on the map.




The only thing that Capcom complicate

was the HP regeneration. Mega Man no longer recover all his energy after battles, now you need to "Jack out" or use items to recover your energy.





I even thought they were going to reuse more maps from the first game, but as far as I remember they only reused 2 of them.




Finally I used the advanced program, and the one from Gate Man is crazy! I think it takes more than a thousand of damage, for sure if you have this advanced you beat the game without problems.





The bad organization time is Gospel! And of course, whoever knows the Japanese names in the series picked up the reference and found out right away who the final boss is!





In particular, I think this is far superior to the first in both new mechanics and progression! And this Bass meme was awesome xD (Ps: Best Bass' design).
