Arthur really deserved some days off. Capcom Quest of Maximo: Ghost to Glory! The protagonist has changed, but difficulty still hard.
I didn't know that this game was part of the Ghosts N 'Goblins franchise, but I think there isn't any iconic characters/enemies from the series here.
The protagonist is Maximo, a warrior who, upon returning from a mission, saw his kingdom taken by Achille, a supposed friend who decided to make a joke with the hero.
Achille ends up "killing" Maximo, but Grim the Death, makes a deal with Maximo to bring him back to life if he ended Achille's plans (he was also looking to create an army in the underworld).
Highlight for the huge SLAP that Achille does to Sophia (Maximo's girlfriend). Dude, I think she died there...
The game has several power ups that can be achieved through drops, chests and purchases. Get ready to use many sword upgrades, because without it even the skeleton will give you trouble to kill.
To use the checkpoint you have to stick the sword in it (2x jump + attack) nothing very intuitive but it's DOPE!
There are 6 worlds, each with a hud world where you have to find the 5 levels (you can even die here).
It is always good to have extra keys, the game forces you to look for keys to be able to advance through the levels, and this gets worse in the last world. You have to be patient xD
Beat at first time you play is practically impossible! Continues are limited and get more "expensive" as you use them. And to save the game you have to defeat the world boss or pay coins in the hidden pits...
In the end, the real villain is the Demon Queen who was disguised as Sophia and bewitched Achille! She was the easiest boss in the game. lol
The answer lies in the heart of cards.
