It's really sad that this game was only released in Japan. Capcom Quest of Startling Adventures! 3 stories and several very complicated minigames xD
I really wish to know what Capcom's restriction is on making games worldwide. This one I didn't understand why it was only released in Japan.
Anyway, the game has three different stories, each one has two minigames, and these will increase the difficulty as the gameplay progresses.
The first story is about an Oni who is challenging humans in a game, as little as I understand he devours his victims if they lost the game.
One of those victims was one woman, and I think she trains you against Oni, but that training is this game that has to reach the opponent's piece on the board.
The second is about a princess's army. I didn't understand the story very well, it seems to be something about defending her empire against enemies. One of its minigames is to interact on the stage, nothing too complex.
The other minigame is the tank duel! There is a whole system of upgrades and challenges in this mode, and it is quite challenging in the last battles. It looks like a mix of xcom with advance wars.
The third and last story is the one I liked the most. Space Rescue searching for missions around the world. This one in particular has 5 stories and several minigames (even Rainbow Mika makes a cameo).
The worst of these mini games is this one of discovering the correct password sequence. The screen must flash red 4 times, otherwise the code is wrong.
The main game is this shooter, with each mission that's beat, you get a new weapon! And in the last missions, things get hard xD
Finally, the last minigame is a series of challenges for the ship to turn on. Nothing too complicated to understand, just the time limit that will get in the way.
