Now Volnutt and Roll have a real mission to go after the legendary Mother Lode, something that in the first game they only knew about its existence.
And for that we need to find 4 keys that give access to the supposed refractor of endless energy, all in the best "Legends" style of exploring dungeons and defeating enemies.
The gameplay has been vastly improved, the aim works much better and you can also run while using it, and the Life Shield does not need to be repaired.
There is even a challenge to improve your Digger License and consequently get more Zennys but the difficulty of the game increases! To go up to the A Class is fine, but S you will have to know how to hit the enemies in the other xD
If you just want to do the main missions, the game is very linear! There's the way of asking Data what to do, but on the map there is always the red arrow indicating where to go.
A lot things happens on the plot, the Bonne family and the Glyde gang are back, also interested in Mother Lode. And in addition, two new pirates appear, the brothers Klaymoor and Bola!
Roll's missing parents are also in the story! They were diggers and disappeared on a mission to the Forbidden Island. Banner who is now known to Joe and Matilda who was saved thanks to Yuna's powers.
And of course the Master (the last human) and his two Mother Units, Sera and Yuna. This Master had the objective of restarting the human race, in case it ended up with the passage of time. But unfortunately Sera did not understand correctly...
Mother Lode was actually that system and not an "Endless Refrator". After a hard fight (only if you don't have good armor and HP) Sera understands what the Master's real objective was. lol
In the end, Volnutt, Sera and Yuna are trapped in Elysium while Roll and the Bonne brothers try to rescue them, but they are there until nowadays, after all there's no Legends 3.
