This game doesn't like me! Capcom Quest of Mega Man X5! Eurasia, Guns N 'Roses and other memes, in the last episode of the series... Or should have been.
I never liked X5, and the most bizarre thing is that I don't know how to explain exactly why.
Choosing Zero first just to have the Z-buster is certainly not as attractive as having the Fourth Armor right away (unless there is some advanced technique there that I don't know about).
Speaking of Zero, why the hell did Capcom put the bosses' skills on the same button as the Z-Saber? It doesn't make any sense since the X continues in the same way as in the X4. This only got in the way of the SDC. lol
In my opinion, there is no more stylish armor than Falcon. It's too beautiful, too bad its buster is terrible.
Gaea is not that great. For me it only serves to get the 2 heart tanks and that's it. But I admit that its buster is nice, I could exchange it with the Falcon xD
I didn't like the Eurasia/Enigma meme, having to do everything on the go if you are not going to lose Zero. But nowadays I see it with a good replay factor.
Having to wait for the countdown to decrease for the bosses to level up and get extra parts is something that I thought was really cool, you take more chances but you get rewarded for that (PS: Missing Guns N' Roses meme).
But Capcom could have written the names of the parties instead of "Weapons + Life/Energy". I would never know which one is which without the help of the internet.
To be honest, I don't like ANY stage of this game. But the highlight goes to Tidal Whale, doing 100% and repeating the whale stage is not easy...
The fight between X and Zero is certainly the best part of this episode. Among the possible variations of this moment, Ultimate Armor vs Awakened Zero is the most epic!
I almost forgot about them, since Repliforce succumbed, now the Maverick Hunters have new members. Alia that talks a lot, Signas that is a clone of Colonel and Douglas that reminds me the good Double.
And the game offers three endings. One that would be the prologue to X6, another that is linked to the Zero saga and another that is some meme (I didn't even mention Dynamo, huh?
