This is the first update that Rival received, in addition to adding new anime scenes and characters also received some minigames.
In this version I decided to beat with all the characters once again, but now the focus was on the story and making the real ending for each fighter!
The only way to make the story mode work is by choosing two characters from the same school. In total there are 6 different stories.
Itsuno did a great job in the game plot! We have rivalries, nice fights, romances, kidnappings, brainwashing, world domination ... Man, Rival Schools would be an excellent anime!
Still on story mode, there will always be a battle to test your strength. In this case your character is very nerfed, and if you manage to win you will go straight to the supposed final boss!
Speaking of which, you need to win at least one round using a double special, to face the real boss!
The main cause of all this brainwashing and kidnapping from schools was Hyo! And I really believe that Itsuno used a lot of his personality in Vergil. Calm, cold, calculating, looking for power and have a twin brother...
Hayato and Daigo were the two new characters added! There is no story mode with them, but each one has its good and bad ending \ o /
