Would Alpha 3 exist if Street Fighter III had sold a lot? Capcom Quest of Street Fighter Alpha 3! My favorite Street Fighter.
This was the fighting game that I played the most in my childhood! Mainly because of its incredible extra modes! \o/
Alpha 3 received two updates, so I decide to beat in this episode with 12 of the 38 playable characters!
Now we have the option to choose bars! The blue one is used a lot in the competitive with its crazy custom combos! The red one represents the Super Turbo, a bar for a huge damage special. And the green that is the classic alpha bar.
About the bars, each of them changes some characteristics of the characters. Chun in the red bar gains access to the spin bird kick, as well as changing her outfit for SF II. Cody receives access to dodge in the blue bar. And the green bar gives access to the standard moveset of the characters.
The game has a defense bar, if one character defends too much it will open its guard! It is very rare for this to happen, only if you stay on the defensive for a long time...
The alpha counters were extremely nerfed! In addition to spending a special bar, it will consume part of your defense bar. Nor will it take almost any damage from the enemy, in previous games it was common to use it to end the round, here it only serves to get out of the opponent's pressure.
Even though this is not the most complete version, the cast is amazingl! Only 4 world warriors are not present, but Guile is very well represented by Nash. All Zero 2 characters are back! And there are the debut of Karin and Mika in the canon of the series.
I believe that the story of both is the only canonical one in this episode. Alpha's canon is a little messy xD
Capcom has chosen to change all the theme songs! I don't think they're as impressive as the classics, but Ken's is crazy. Whenever I hear her my hype goes to heights \o/
More hype than that is this announcer. My God, I even got goosebumps writing here. Greg Irwin is the name of the legend!!! "YOU HAVE A FIST OF GOD !!!!!"
And I have to talk about Bison, of course! Whenever you face it, it will come with the red bar of DEATH! And that means Psycho Crusher FULL SCREEN. If you jump or whiff an attack, you're dead!
There are still a lot of things I want to talk about about Alpha 3. But I'll leave that for the next updates...
