I wasn't expecting such a good sequel! Capcom Quest of Plasma Sword: The Nightmare of Bilstein. The Gladiators are back... And with clones!
It is obvious that the game of GOD SATURN (better known as my STAND) would be epic! Even so it was way above what I expected!
The plot again is about Bilstein trying to dominate the Earth, but this time even warriors from other dimensions/timelines come to the present to defeat the villain.
The game has the model of 12 characters, exactly the same number as the previous game (counting the secrets). But another 12 fighters were added as a B-side.
Even so, many of these "clones" have their own characteristics, usually their specials are different, and some of them even change the moveset a lot. They only have the same model...
The B-side stories also change a lot, some come from the future like Ele, others are rivals like Saturn and Prince, even Bilstein's body from the first game seeks for revenge!
The gameplay is extremely superior! Everything faster and more fluid, few loadings compared to the first game, and with more intuitive commands, without losing the essence of the original game!
Now the characters have the ability of Plasma Field, you can use the special bar, and if you hit the opponent, it will change your Gladiator's properties.
There are also rival matches, very like Street Fighter Alpha style! Always on Stage 5 you will have a chat with your "friend" xD
I just didn't understand why Kaede and Rai-On were secret. Okay, they're B-side very different from the originals, but they're not the only ones...
Remember 6 minutes to face the final boss and see the real ending? Certainly Capcom received a lot of complaints about it and now the condition is just to score 95,000 points! Much fairer right?
And of course I have to talk about him. Saturn still as charismatic as ever! The guy now even has the MJ's dance special. I already miss my Stand. (Please Capcom! Bring him back).
