Mega Man & Bass (1998): Collecting CDs and Destroying Robots | Capcom Quest #205

It's amazing how Bass breaks all the difficulty from this game. Capcom Quest of Mega Man & Bass! Capcom's last game for the Nintendo's 16-bit.

The legend says that Capcom tried to make a Mega Man 8 port for Super Nintendo, but that port ended up becoming a new game o.O

Almost all sprites were reused from MM8, from common enemies in the levels, to 2 Robot Masters (Tengu and Astro), in addition to some bosses like the Green Devil.

Even so, there was a subtle change in Rock, now when he is in low energy, there is an animation of him tired. Could have the swimming animation too = /

Certainly Capcom must have received a lot of complaints saying that MM7 and 8 are easy compared to Famicom games. That's probably why this game has become so punitive!

Play as Rock here is to ask to suffer, it seems that the level design was not made for him. Several times I had to use the power of ice to reach platforms, not to mention enemies positioned for you to take damage.

But Bass breaks the whole game! It looks like I'm playing Mega Man X in the classic series. Double jump with dash and the possibility of flying! VERY OP!

It took me hours to pass the second stage of the castle with Rock (What a hard stage, huh?) But with Bass I DIDN'T LOSE ANY LIFE, hahahahahaha.

The game offers as collectibles CDs with information about the characters of the series, and it is quite fun to hunt them all \ o /

Now I understand why it was strange to see people complain about the difficulty of this game, surely they must have played only with Rock!!!!

I think Disney Quest is running out = \
