It's just too sad that I didn't know much about Tokusatsu, because the references here were huge! Capcom Quest of Tech Romancer. Now it's time for Mechas join to Low Poly universe!
What a beautiful surprise, hum Capcom? I was not looking forward to this game, but I ended up liking too much!!!
Despite being a game focused on Mechas, Tech Romancer does not belong to the same lore of Armored Warriors and Cyberbots. At most it's considered as spiritual successor, nothing more.
You can see Capcom's clear intention to romanticize the game in an anime/tokusatsu. Sung opening, transition screens, voice acting, shonen history and several references to tokusatsu, which unfortunately I could not understand all, but my subscribers knew it xD
The game has 14 playable Mechas, of which only Jin Saotome's Blodia II is a completely new Mecha (the others are stronger versions of the existing Mechas).
The two game modes are Arcade, where you will face 12 opponents (All secret characters are only playable in this mode) and Story, which is the most beautiful thing in the world! This mode is so complete that almost all characters have two routes with different endings! In addition to voice acting and history being great! (Even Freezer and Yamcha's "Seiyus" are here xD).
The gameplay mechanics are extremely simple, only commands like forward + A, or back, forward + A B. Something very intuitive and works for all characters.
There are also items you acquired throughout the fight, like increasing attack damage or giant missiles!
Whenever the opponent reaches half of the HP in the second round, it is possible to execute the Final Attack, which is a HIT KILL!
Highlight also for the wonderful announcer, the way that this guy talks, makes hype in anyone, hahahahahahaha.
And to end, this Easter egg that I think is fantastic! It really looks like the Cap building in Osaka xD. What a game my friends, what a game!
Nowadays it would be a smartphone game!
