Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara (1996): The Synn's Wrath | Capcom Quest #179

Just think about an incredible game! Capcom Quest of Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara. The sequence that got even more epic!

Not that I'm complaining about these beautiful graphics, but I wonder what this game would look like on CPS-3 (which was released the same year). It would be too much beautiful!

As I mentioned in the previous D&D review, I believe that this series was the culmination that Capcom reached in the Beat 'em Up style. And in this episode, all the mechanics are back.

Podemos selecionar 2 novos heróis, o Mago que é bem apelão e cheio das magias e a Ladra que é ágil e tem bastante combos.

Besides, the game lets you choose more than one character from the same class, so it avoids fights over heroes' preferences, doesn't it? xD

But unfortunately whenever you die and change characters the game forces you to write a new name for your hero. Doing it once is normal, but after the third time you write anything.

In the first game, when using spells the time stops and here follows the same way. The point is that now we have a Mage in the group that every time he unleashes one of his infinite spells the time stops. It pisses you off a lot, ahahhaahahah.

The game has more alternate paths, lots of new creatures and some old ones with new sprites, more hard bosses, besides the journey being a little longer.

And speaking of crazy bosses, my God!! Here they worked even harder on the difficulty! But again, the most difficult fight was against a Red Dragon, the villain Synn.

The saddest thing is to know that this is Capcom's last D&D. I'll miss this...

Is there any character more broken than Shin Akuma?
