Marvel Super Heroes (1995): The Infinity Gauntlet by Capcom | Capcom Quest #161

Even Capcom didn't want to adapt the love Thanos' story of the comic book. Capcom Quest of Marvel Super Heroes. Another episode from versus series!

How nice is to play against an honest CPU. I have said this in other reviews, but I reaffirm that from 1995 Capcom made the fighting games CPU much easier..

The news here is the infinity gems! It works like a power up, with each character reacting more strongly with a particular gem.

I think Capcom didn't distribute this intensity well. Power stone has affinity for 4 characters, while Time, Soul and Reality have only affinity for 1 fighter each. I'm not sure how unbalanced the game is, but for me it's really fun \ o /

Compared to X-Men CotA, I found the gameplay to be much faster and the combos easy to perform (at least here the CPU doesn't defend all the time).

There are 13 characters, one of my favorite rosters! There was no character I didn't like to play (mainly because the grapples are easy to approach).

Much of the stages are destructive, but this waterfall is surreal! Wonderful!

The Donovan's partner, Anita makes her first playable appearance here. She is very unbalanced, can jump 4x in the air, has a small hurt box, for some reason summon Akuma, and has a special that takes a lot of HP (even in defense).

The game is an adaptation of Infinite Gauntlet HQ, where Thanos offers half of the universe to Death (and she gives a sh**). But Capcom did not want to adapt this part, why? xD

Yeah, another Street Fighter II
