Mega Man X2 (1994): The X Hunters' Attack | Capcom Quest #146

Would be nice if Capcom put a Green Biker Dude easter egg on the MMX9... Don't you think!? Capcom Quest of Mega Man X2. Rebuilding Zero and Stopping the X Hunters' Plans!

It's kind of weird to imagine the X series without Zero, Capcom really regretted "killing" him in the first episode, to prove this in the Maverick Hunter X remake, he's not destroyed...

I didn't play X2 in my childhood, and to tell the truth this gameplay must have been the second time in my life that I played the game. The reason for sure was that at the time I was already on X4..

This episode focuses on preventing the X Hunters from rebuilding Zero, in all 8 stages there is an alternate way to face one of the 3 robots. But in the end, whether you face them or not, Zero will come back to life.

To tell the truth I prefer not to collect the parts of Zero, because then you will fight against him, and this fight is SICK!

There are many things that Capcom prefers to leave a mystery, such as the origin of Serges, one of the X Hunters. His resemblance to Dr Wily is clear, and it would be quite plausible that he was a robotic version of the villain.

About the gameplay we had the addition of giga attack (destroys all enemies on the screen), air dash and a hidden item finder. All this available through the parts of the new armor. And also the legendary Shoryuken as an extra!

This way to farm energy for E tanks was WONDERFUL!!! Thanks for that Capcom \o/

I believe I have to talk about him, right? I don't even know what to say about this meme, but the Green Biker Dude that dies in the fist stage of Mega Man X2 has become a legend, simply because the internet wanted it.

There's a cliche to say this, but in the end Mega Man X2 put together all the best from the first game and nice additions.

There is a lot history in this one!
