Super Street Fighter II Turbo (1994): The Demon of a Thousand Deaths! | Capcom Quest #129

Have you ever thought that if was no translation error, maybe Akuma would not exist? Capcom Quest of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, another version of the arcades and the awakening of Satsui no Hado.

As promised, I have beat with all the characters in the first 4 versions. Now the goal was to defeat Akuma!

In this version besides new attacks, animations and balancing, we finally gain access to supers, feature that remains until today in the games series.

I did a run (which I suffered again) to face Akuma in the end, but even getting more than 1,200,000 points without using continues the demon decided not to appear...

The way was to use some "cheating", if player 2 picks up the same character (opponent of player 1 in arcade mode) and loses, the CPU considers that you won the same in arcade mode. Doing this all through the run I got to the Bison before the required 1500 seconds and Akuma showed up.

There is no other version harder than this one, MY GOODNESS the character is very broken and he doesn't even have super! What made me more surprised was that on several occasions he was able to punish after taking a grab, his wake up is faster than the recovery of the grab.

It took me almost two hours to defeat him and the strategy was, to wait for the CPU allows me to win -_-

It's fine Akuma be so difficult, after all you asked to face this extra, but was so disappointing playing with him. He's complicated to unlock and was nerfed, only throws one air fireball, weak attacks and also does not have super! Ironically he turns out to be the worst playable character.

Sometimes I think Akuma at that time was Sheng Long, as the magazine meme said, but then Capcom thought it over and put him as the murderer of Gouken and Goutetsu! In the end, a translation error created one of the most iconic characters in fighting games.

What version is this?
