Wow, who could be this weird Mr. X? Capcom Quest of Mega Man 6, the final adventure for nes!
Can you believe this is already the thirteenth Blue Bomber game in just 6 years? Well... Once again we have a story where 8 robots were controlled by someone (this time it was during a tournament) and our hero has to save the world!
It's obvious that Capcom's intention was not to create a mystery around the new villain. By this time I believe the company had already defined that Wily is, and apparently will always be, the final boss from all classic Mega Man games.
Finally we have access to Rush Armor and here it has two versions, one with jet pack and another with a more powerful shots! For me, is the best power up in the series!
Beat also is here, and to get it this time you have to "beat" 4 bosses in alternate ways. To be honest I think that Rush Armor should have this condition, after all it's much better power up than the robot bird.
Some parts I suffered a lot like in the forest stage, that if you jump on the springs and went too high, your jump arc will be interrupted by the screen edge. Also in the ice stage, I died because of this bombs and in Wily Castle I didn't know how to control the flight xD
In the end we face 2 castles, find out who is Mr X, and after 6 years Wily is finally arrested, at least until the next episode, hahahahaha.
Two hundred thousand people signed up for the Robot Masters contest, one fun fact is that this time there was no winner from Japan. And yes, all 8 bosses again were made by the fans!
