Gargoyle's Quest II (1992): Firebrand returns!! | Capcom Quest #104

Would be nice if they put Arthur as an hard enemy in this game, just for revenge! Capcom Quest of Gargoyle's Quest II, the adventure continues in a game for the nes!

Unlike the previous one, where the Destroyers wanted to rule the "Ghoul Realm" and were defeated by Firebrand (becoming the legendary Red Blaze), this time King Breager appears, a demon that wants to rule the both worlds (Human and Ghoul)

The game is basically the game boy version with nes graphics, of course giving sequence to the story and new maps. But the proposal is the same, we have a world map where we talk to npcs and explore the game, also has the stages where the heads rolls!!!

Even the old upgrades are here, higher jump, more timing to flight, and more hp. Besides the shots that are also the same, just this hurricane that creates platforms is new, which returns in the SNES sequel!

Maybe this one is the most beautiful nes game, graphically speaking. The background is very detailed for one platformer, not to mention the stages variations that also are nice!

A lot of bosses are pretty challenging, with those infernal spells that always predict where you're going! And also the last boss in specific has an HUGE HP, it seems the animal never dies!

I remember in the first game I got stuck in some parts of the map, like checking a tree to find an item that I had no idea. But in this episode I didn't have much problem, only once in the desert that was to do a backtracking to the village.

In summary, the game is the most linear of the trilogy.

Have you already praise the Capcom's legendary partnership with Disney today?
