The game plot is cool, but the execution was fail! Capcom Quest of Mega Man II or Rockman World II, the blue bomber's adventure continues on Nintendo's handheld!
The plot of this game is one of the best in the classics! Dr. Willy goes to the future, kidnaps Mega Man and turns him into Quint, an evil version from the hero. But the fight between them is a joke!
It's very similar to previous one, where you have to face 4 Robots Masters from the nes games! The difference here is that the bosses are weaker and almost doesn't cause any damage to you. Metal Man, for example, only takes 1 life point for each attack!
I think this time the stages were too short (Wood Man) or very similar to their nes version (Air Man). And the difficulty is not a big thing, I got through all four stages in about 40 minutes, which I usually take more time xD
Only Crash Man was kind of hard, he's really not like the others Robot Masters, he takes few damage and causes the double on you. Even using his weakness weapon isn't that efficient.
One nice thing is that we had the return of overpowered Rush Jet, where you can fly freely through the screen! This is probably the last appearance from this version, we will miss it =(.
One good surprise is that again the game brings something new in Willy Station, this time the Boss Rush are new stages. Yeah, in this game we face 8 stages and 8 Robot Masters, as the rule says!
About these stages/bosses I think the difficulty was increased, the stages are more challenging and the bosses causes more damage! However, again I had that feeling that the stages is too short or is very similar to the original version...
But my biggest disappointment is this, Quint, the evil Mega Man from the future (another Mega Man Killer). The guy is pathetic, only jumps with a jackhammer in the same places, and he's extremely easy to defeat. I didn't understand why Capcom do this, it was supposed to be an epic battle.
To finish we have the last stage, which happens in some crazy place on space! It's cool, and the only one that is not from the nes games! Willy has 3 forms, but just the last one is hard because of the small hurt box...
After beat him, it's game over! It seems to me that the Mega Man has finally put an end on Willy's life, he launches a missile and hits the nail on the head! But we know that this old man is immortal, will return on any classic Mega Man game!
