What's the problem with these villains kidnapping the someone girlfriends, they can't get one? Capcom Quest of Super Ghouls' N Ghosts, once again our might knight needs to save his beloved!
This is the first game that Capcom made exclusively for the legendary Super Nintendo, thus starting a partnership that would mark the history of the video games industry! Yeah, how many memories doesn't it?
The story is that cliche from 90's where the knight has to face several villains and save his helpless beloved. I would even criticize Capcom for emphasizing this, but by that time she had already given us the Bad Ass Chun-li, so it's alright xD
Again, most of the weapons you can get in the chests are not so good, usually Arthur's standard spear is one of the best! There are some parts that I got mad with an axe, for example when I couldn't hit the enemy below a ladder.
This episode features two types of armor, the green that powers up the weapons and the legendary golden armor, which as in previous versions allows you to use the special of each weapon using a charge like Mega Man!
Of course the level design of the stages is again terrible for jumps, incredible how you need to do precisely jumps in a lot platforms. And honestly, Double Jump often gets in the way, cause you can't redirect the second jump.
About the bosses, there were only 2 of them that were hard, this ice dragon, who has to wait he returns to the ground, to avoid from some projectiles that freezes, and in the mean time hit him, and also the "final boss", just because the time out!
Would not be Ghouls 'N Ghosts if it didn't happen right? In the second run you have to find the bracelet, in some random chest, and with this Arthur gets a new weapon that allows to kill the real final boss, which is not even great things! So Princess is saved and game is over.
