Gargoyle's Quest (1990): The Demon's Crest from Game Boy | Capcom Quest #061

Yeah guys, we reached at the first game that Capcom made for Game Boy! Capcom Quest of Gargoyle's Quest, the beginning of Firebrand saga!

There's no way to not remember how I suffered with this pest on Ghosts' n Goblins, with that attacks impossible to dodge, damn Capcom! On this game Firebrand starts very nerfed, in search to save the hell (?) And usually you die with a hit kill!

The game is an rpg/platform where you have to go in "villages" to pick up missions and then go to the map to find stages. Sometimes you'll get stuck, because there are some memes that you just find only doing a random check, like an item to improve the wing in this tree, for example.

It also has a lot slowdowns, especially on bosses and when are many enemies on screen! But we can't complain that much, after all it's Cap's first handheld game.

I'm not gonna lie that the game reminded me the first Pokémon versions, not only because the menu style, but also the map! In this desert part, you have to figure out the right way for fall into the hole, which is very similar to that ice cave of GB Pokémon.

Another cool thing is that all these spells are in Demon's Crest! One that destroys blocks to open passages, another that sticks on spikes to use as a platform and the strongest of all, that takes an huge damage from enemies.

But the weird thing, are the options that npcs gives to you. They ask a question like, "What time is it?" And your answer is Yes or No... Wft !? Only in the final boss its makes sense, if you answer Yes you will lose all the upgrades.

He's not that difficult, if you hit the jump and fly by side of his head getting shot, you'll kill him fast, even in his second form. But you have to calculate well because he takes a lot damage wich his a handcuff xD. And then it's game over!

This must be dope with three players.
