The week started nice doesn't it? Capcom Quest of Willow, that dwarf who knows some crazy spells!!!
It's incredible how at the same time I remember this movie on TV but I don't remember ANYTHING about its history, hahahah. I should had rewatch to compare with the game!
With this one, Capcom has completed 5 years producing games, and look how everything is beautiful here!!! Definitely the graphic evolution was so much bigger, than nowadays.
But talking about the game, it's a very NICE platform that you switch between Willow, the most dope dwarf and also with the sword master. Like that way we know, Willow is better at long distances and the warrior is better at shorts!
At the third stage and I had problem to kill the thugs, I spent more than 15 minutes trying to beat this ones with shields! Then I discovered that I needed to buy an item in the store xD
Because the same reason, the fight against this dragon was so hard, I had not bought the item to upgrade the character's damage! So, here is a tip for who wants to play, you don't need to upgrade HP that much, focus on damage first!
Let's talk about this boss who is quite scary but extremely easy!!! If you have upgraded the Willow's power, you probably got the best magic, the Fire Hurricane. With this it's just stay down on the corner and throws the magic, that always takes a lot damage at him!
The dwarf's final magic is one that kills all normal enemies onscreen, but there is no effect against bosses and this is a HUGE problem, just because you need to release the charge before the bar completes. And this is not that simple...
Cause this I gave up to facing the final boss using the Hurricane, I always charged the bar too much and the magic didn't hurt him! I had to kill using shoots in Mega Man style xD
Like the others arcade games, it has few stages but off course the difficulty is hard. And if you don't upgrade the characters early, you'll get mad most of the time!
A nice thing are these beautiful game arts! It's CPS 1 power, my friends! With that little 90's taste.
